HD & Volunteering Week at Bloomfield

Many thanks to our amazing volunteers from the National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) who came to Bloomfield during what was both National Volunteering Week and Huntington’s Disease Awareness Week.
The NTMA volunteers worked away (on a rare sunny day in Rathfarnham) to create a new Sensory Garden Area for all Bloomfield residents in our Wicklow Way courtyard.
The new area includes plants that stimulate all the senses – sight, sound, touch, smell and taste and also provides a new resting area pergola.
The next visit of the NTMA volunteers to Bloomfield will be in July when they will continue their work outdoors (weather permitting).
We are very grateful for the support of all our volunteers!
