Bloomfield Health Services was established and is owned and operated by the Religious Society of Friends in Ireland (Quakers). It is both a registered Company (412474) (Company Limited by Guarantee) and a registered Charity (CHY 4070) and it fulfils its obligations both as a registered company and as a registered charity. Bloomfield Health Services operates two core services namely, Bloomfield Mental Health Services and New Lodge Nursing Home. The Company has a Board of Directors who are non-executive and an executive Senior Management Team which is responsible to the Board for the day to day operations of the service and for the implementation of the strategic plan.
Bloomfield Mental Health Services is registered with the Mental Health Commission as an Approved Centre and is regulated in accordance with it registration requirements.
New Lodge Nursing Home is registered with the Health, Information and Quality Authority as a designated centre and is regulated in accordance with its registration requirements.
Bloomfield Health Services receives funding for its Mental Health Service from the Health Service Executive (HSE) as a section 39 agency and has service level agreements in place with the HSE. It also fulfils its compliance obligations under these service level agreements.
