Mental Health Facility: Bloomfield Hospital
Bloomfield Hospital is a mental health approved centre, registered with the Mental Health Commission. The core specialisation is care of adults with conditions such as dementia and other serious and enduring mental health care needs.
Care and therapies focus on dignity, inclusion and quality of life. In addition to 24 hour nursing support, residents are cared for by a full team including a Clinical Director, Consultant Psychiatrist, Medical Superintendent, Director of Nursing, Occupational Therapists and other qualified mental and physical health care practitioners. Specialist mental health care is provided in conjunction with Tallaght and St. James' Hospitals.
